Nicke Andersson, known for his work with ENTOMBED and THE HELLACOPTERS, has released his first solo album under the name Nicke Andersson and Nobody Else. The project marks his first full solo record, where he performs all instruments and handles production and artwork. The album explores themes of ambition, exhaustion, love, and identity, reflecting decades of musical experience and personal introspection.
Andersson has maintained a consistent creative drive throughout his career, contributing to projects such as THE HYDROMATICS, THE SOLUTION, DEATH BREATH, IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC, and LUCIFER, in addition to extensive production work. The release signifies a new chapter in his artistic journey, with the album representing a deeply personal expression of his rock music roots. ENTOMBED, the band Andersson co-founded, saw the passing of vocalist Lars-Göran Petrov on March 7, 2021.
In recent years, Andersson has reunited with original members Alex Hellid and Uffe Cederlund to perform and work on new music under the ENTOMBED name. This new project, however, stands independently as a solo endeavor, affirming Andersson's commitment to self-directed creative expression.
