Nightmare Omen, a new band led by vocalist Johan Lindstand best known as the singer for Swedish death/thrash metal band The Crown, has released their third single, 'The Serpent’s Kiss'. The track is now available on all digital platforms and is accompanied by an official lyric video. The single was produced with contributions from Christian Görke, who directed the video, and Marko Tervonen, who mixed the track. The release follows previous singles 'Final Breath' and 'Killstrike'.

Lindstand confirmed he founded Nightmare Omen in early 2025 after picking up his guitar for the first time in 15 years. He described the project as a deliberate effort to create music from the ground up, aiming to capture the intense, dedicated energy he experienced decades ago when pursuing music with full commitment.

The band's current lineup includes Johan Lindstand on vocals, Robert Axelsson on bass, Peter Söderberg on guitar, Christer Bergqvist on lead guitar, and Jonas Blom on drums. A full album from the band's project VOICES OF EXTREME is scheduled for release in 2026 on BraveWords Records.
