In a recent interview with Rev.

Tom Brice of Sportzwire Radio, NONPOINT frontman Elias Soriano discussed the band's upcoming full-length album, stating that he believes fans will have fun with it due to its distinct sound.

He emphasized that it is different from what is currently popular and will satisfy fans who remember the nu metal resurgence in recent years.

Soriano also talked about how he feels about the supposed resurgence, saying that people are starting to remember the power and excess of the early 2000s scene.

He added: "I think people are gonna hear our new record and they're gonna have fun.

I really feel like they're gonna have fun again, in the way that we intend it to be, I feel, which is empowering, which is retrospective, which is painted with a little bit of self-awareness, a little self-growth and then some initiative and drive and motivation peppered throughout." NONPOINT drummer Robb Rivera previously revealed that the band had "16 or 17 songs" ready for their upcoming LP, with plans to release it as a full-length album.

He mentioned that the EP idea was a great experiment, but they are now happy to focus on releasing ten songs.

The interview also touched upon the band's history of releasing albums more frequently every two years before taking a breather and focusing on other projects.

NONPOINT will headline "The Outta Control Tour" this spring with support from SOIL and SUMO CYCO, performing new material from their forthcoming album.

The U.S.

trek will kick off on April 25 in Tampa, Florida and wrap up on May 14 in Chicago, Illinois.

The band's lineup consists of Elias Soriano (Lead Vocals), Robb Rivera (Drums), Rasheed Thomas (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Adam Woloszyn (Bass), and Jason Zeilstra (Lead Guitar).
