Finland's Battle Beast has confirmed that vocalist Noora Louhimo is leaving the band to pursue a solo career.
This decision comes after six albums and 13 years together.
In a statement, the band expressed gratitude for the music and tours created during their time together and wished Louhimo nothing but success.
Louhimo has shared her own thoughts on the departure in an exclusive interview with Chaoszine, stating that it was a long process and she had to prioritize her well-being due to health issues and a car accident.
She emphasized the need for a solo career to express herself creatively.
The band has introduced Brazilian songstress Marina La Torraca as Louhimo's successor, calling her incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity.
La Torraca acknowledged it was a bit terrifying but exciting to follow in Louhimo's footsteps.
The new lineup will make their debut in Japan and Australia this March.
