The Osbourne family has partnered with Hyperreal to create an AI-powered digital version of the late Black Sabbath frontman, allowing fans to interact with a holographic Ozzy.

The digital avatar will respond in Ozzy's voice and will be taken around the world as part of the licensing program.

Sharon and Jack Osbourne appeared at Licensing Expo 2026 in Las Vegas to discuss the future of the Osbourne brand, which is expanding into new areas including fan engagement, licensing and strategic partnerships.

Interest in Ozzy's legacy continues to build with multiple major projects in development, including an upcoming biopic and the return of Ozzfest in 2027.

The digital Ozzy project builds on previous work by Hyperreal, such as their life-sized holographic Stan Lee avatar that interacted with attendees at Los Angeles Comic Con last year.

The Osbourne family's licensing program continues to expand across fashion collaborations, collectibles, accessories and emerging digital opportunities, all rooted in the authenticity, edge, humor and rebellious spirit of the brand.

As part of this expansion, Sharon confirmed plans to take Ozzfest for another two days in the US as well as its return in 2027 as a two-day event in Birmingham, UK.

Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025 at the age of 76 due to complications from coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease.

His final performance took place with his original BLACK SABBATH lineup in Birmingham last year.

The Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery has dedicated an exhibition to Ozzy's life and career until September this year.

Sharon and Jack Osbourne moderated a session on the enduring legacy of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne at Licensing Expo 2026, answering questions about the future of the Osbourne brand and its licensing program.

They stated that the digital Ozzy project is just one part of their efforts to connect with longtime fans and new audiences through storytelling, fan engagement and strategic partnerships.
