Ozzy Osbourne and the original Black Sabbath lineup performed their final concert together at Birmingham's Villa Park stadium on July 5, 2025, marking a landmark moment in rock history. The sold-out event, which took place just 17 days before Ozzy's passing, featured a reunion of the band's original members: Ozzy (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), and Bill Ward (drums). The performance was the first time the original Black Sabbath lineup performed together in over 20 years.

The concert has been released globally as a cinematic film titled 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning', produced by Mercury Studios and distributed by Trafalgar Releasing. The film will debut in cinemas worldwide on October 28, 2026, in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound, offering an immersive audio-visual experience of the final show.

Directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce and live concert director Tim Van Someren, the film captures both the scale of a stadium performance and the emotional intimacy of a farewell. It features personal reflections from the musicians and behind-the-scenes moments from the night, including sets from Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Guns N' Roses, Lamb of God, Metallica, and others, with special guests such as David Ellefson, Nuno Bettencourt, and Jake E. Lee.

The film is part of Mercury Studios' commitment to premium music storytelling and follows acclaimed releases like 'Metallica Saved My Life' and 'Reggaeton: The Sound That Conquered The World'. Trafalgar Releasing, which has distributed high-grossing concert films including Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour', will bring the film to over 15,000 cinemas across 132 countries.
