In a recent interview, Sonny Sandoval of the Christian nu-metal band P.O.D confirmed that the group has finished recording its new studio album.
The album was tracked in just two weeks at Memory Music Studios in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with producer Will Yip at the helm.
Yip, who recently produced Grammy-winning rock albums TURNSTILE and QUICKSAND, brought a hip-hop background and foundation to the table, which P.O.D.'s guitarist Marcos Curiel praised as 'a perfect thing for our band.' The new album is said to be heavier and more beautiful than ever before, with Sonny Sandoval singing in ways he never has before.
A release date or single launch has not been confirmed yet.
With P.O.D.
gearing up for a massive tour supporting the new album, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of what could be their best work yet.
