In a recent interview with SWOMP, Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D.

revealed that the band has completed work on a new studio album.

The recording sessions for the follow-up to their 2024 album 'Veritas' took place in South Philadelphia's Whitman section, Pennsylvania at Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip's Memory Music Studios.

Speaking with SWOMP, guitarist Marcos Curiel explained that they chose to work with Yip because of his extensive experience and their mutual respect for one another's work.

Regarding the recording process, Curiel stated that P.O.D.

completed a record 13-14 songs in just 12 days, calling it 'dope' and expressing pride in the result.

The band members also shared their experiences working with Yip outside of California for the first time, describing it as an opportunity to soak up new cultural influences and vibes.

As reported earlier this year, P.O.D.'s last release was a studio version of THE BEATLES classic 'Don't Let Me Down' in September.

Their 2024 album 'Veritas', released via Mascot Records, topped the U.S.

Billboard Current Hard Rock, Current Rock, and Current Alternative album charts upon its release.
