Metalcore pioneers Catharsis, who reunited last year after a 26-year hiatus to release Hope Against Hope, their first album in over two decades, are joining forces with Austin Lunn's prolific project Panopticon for a rare live appearance on the East Coast.

The two acts will kick off their tour on October 8 at Middle East Upstairs in Boston, MA and wrap up on October 11 at Ottobar in Baltimore, MD.

The brief but highly anticipated run includes stops in Brooklyn, NY and Philadelphia, PA.

Panopticon has built a reputation for prolific output, releasing not one but two albums last year and preparing another new release called Det Hjemsøkte Hjertet for a May 8 release via Bindrune Recordings.

While his studio work is plentiful, East Coast live appearances are few and far between.

Fans will get the chance to experience both acts on stage together, with tickets available now through StubHub.

The itinerary includes: * October 8: Middle East Upstairs in Boston, MA * October 9: Market Hotel in Brooklyn, NY * October 10: Nikki Lopez in Philadelphia, PA * October 11: Ottobar in Baltimore, MD For those who may be unfamiliar with Panopticon's work, they have released two notable albums in recent years: Laurentian Blue, a dark folk album meant to accompany their earlier release …And Again Into the Light, and Songs Of Hiraeth, comprised of lost songs from the On The Subject Of Mortality era.

Both albums are highly regarded.
