In a recent interview with Germany's Metal.de, PARADISE LOST guitarist Gregor Mackintosh spoke about how the band has managed to keep most of their original lineup intact for nearly four decades.

He attributed it to a shared sense of humor and acceptance among the members.

Mackintosh also discussed his own health issues that had caused him to lose weight, but did not elaborate further.

Meanwhile, vocalist Nick Holmes reflected on the band's formation in Halifax in 1988 and their early days as pioneers of gothic metal.

PARADISE LOST continues to tour in support of their latest album, "Ascension", released last September via Nuclear Blast Records.
