Patriarchs In Black Release First Single From Upcoming Album

Doom metallers Patriarchs In Black have unveiled the first single from their upcoming studio album, "To Serve Man.", The track, "No More Blood," is set for release on January 8 via Metalville. The official music video for the song is available online.

The album, which follows the band's previous works, features a lineup of top-tier guest musicians. Dan Lorenzo, the band's guitarist and bassist, confirmed the song was conceived after reading a book on Patton and drawing inspiration from films such as Saving Private Ryan and Platoon. He described the track as a reflection on the horrors of war.

"To Serve Man" includes a full tracklist with detailed musician credits. The album features contributions from Johnny Kelly on drums, Mark Sunshine on vocals, Jeff Dixon, Sarah Sovak, and Joe Ferrara on vocals, as well as guest appearances by Kyle Thomas, Damon Trotta, Karl Agell, Johnny Araya, Eric J. Morgan, and Daniel Soren.

Patriarchs In Black, formed in late 2021 by former Type O Negative and Danzig drummer Johnny Kelly and guitarist Dan Lorenzo, continues to build on their reputation for heavy, emotionally charged doom metal with a strong emphasis on vocal diversity and guest collaborations.
