Peaceville has announced the reissue of Candlemass's 1998 album Dactylis Glomerata, set for release on August 28. The reissue features newly remastered audio and will be available on CD and limited Pearl Arctic vinyl. The album marked a return to form for the Swedish band following a hiatus after the Chapter VI release, showcasing a stripped-down, doom-tinged sound with strong songwriting and a stoner rock influence.

Dactylis Glomerata includes guitar work by Michael Amott of Arch Enemy (ex-Carcass) and a guest appearance by Ian Haugland of Europe. The remastering was completed at Temple of Disharmony by Patrick Engel, with the final product approved by the band. This edition honors the album's enduring legacy within Candlemass's four-decade career.

The reissue is available for purchase via the Burningshed store at https://burningshed.com/store/peaceville/artists-a-z-peaceville. The album features tracks including Wiz, I Still See The Black, Dustflow, Cylinder, Karthago, Abstrakt Sun, Apathy, Lidocain God, Molotov, Container, and Thirst.

The announcement comes as part of Peaceville's ongoing commitment to preserving and reissuing classic metal records with enhanced audio quality and archival significance.
