Currently on their Wake Up The Wicked 2026 European tour, German metallers Powerwolf have shared a video recap of their February 21 show in Stockholm, Sweden.
They are celebrating their heavy metal mass with tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans.
Their brand-new live album Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle) has topped the Official German Album Charts, becoming the fifth #1-charting record for the most successful current heavy metal band.
The Wolfpack is on a major European headlining tour through Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, and England.
Matthew Greywolf states: "Having a Nr 1 chart-entry with a live-album is pure madness – we didn’t expect that at all and it`s a terrific statement that live-music matters!!! Thank you all so much!" The band has also earned their standing at the very top of the current metal scene through playing headline and premium slots at essential rock and metal festivals such as Wacken, Hellfest and Graspop, as well as with the band’s huge sold-out arena shows.
Napalm Records Founder and Managing Director Markus Riedler adds: "Reaching number one in the German charts with a live album is a huge sign of trust in the band's work from their loyal fans – and at the same time the result of great teamwork between the band, management, distributor, and label." Powerwolf on Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle): “We always knew that no words or short recap videos could truly capture what we experienced together during the Wolfsnächte 2024 tour.
Every night was its own kind of magic – still, we wanted to find a way to hold on to those memories and share them in the most powerful way possible.
That’s why we decided to record the full, massive, sold-out show at the Olympiahalle in Munich – to preserve just a piece of what we all felt on this tour.
Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle) is more than a live release.
It’s a tribute and manifestation to the moments we created together.” The wolves continue to conquer the world’s most prestigious stages.
They are currently on a major European tour and will continue their holy heavy metal mass just a few days after the release of their spectacular #1 live album Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle).
The tour will culminate in an exclusive UK show at the legendary OVO Arena Wembley – a historic evening for metal.
Powerwolf has also already been confirmed as headliners for some of the biggest festivals, including the monumental Wacken Open Air 2026!
