Chilean melodic death metal band Projector has revealed their second full-length album, Before The Last Light, set for release on August 28 via NB Extreme Recordings.
The album's first single, "Living Resources," along with its music video, is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Formed in Santiago in 2008 by guitarist Rodrigo Bocaz, Projector has steadily developed its sound over the years.
Their debut established their presence in Chile’s melodic death metal scene, with performances alongside In Flames, Septicflesh, Obscura, and A Canorous Quintet expanding their reach beyond South America.
Before The Last Light builds on the melodic foundations of their earlier work, reflecting more than a decade of musical evolution.
The record balances aggressive riffing and memorable melodies with modern production while preserving the band’s established identity.
The album features ten tracks, including bonus track "Corporatocracy." The full tracklist is as follows: Intro, Solitary Ascension, Kakistocracy, What You Really Need, Living Resources, Lawless, 200 Eyes, The Future We Deserve, The End Of The Journey, Corporatocracy.
Separately, Alcatrazz has released PRIOR CONVICTIONS, a new album through BraveWords Records.
The release includes two brand new tracks: "Transylvanian Requiem" and "Stand and Wait Your Turn." Both songs are part of the eleven-track album, which bridges the band’s past and future with a blend of instrumental prowess and rock energy."
