QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Michael Wilton spoke about the band's new songwriting sessions in an interview with Finland's Kasarin Lapset, where he mentioned working on demos for their upcoming follow-up to 2022's 'Digital Noise Alliance' album.

The guitarist said that while they have a rigorous touring schedule, they aim to concentrate on finishing the record soon.

Wilton discussed QUEENSRŸCHE's musical evolution between 1986's 'Rage For Order' and 1988's 'Operation: Mindcrime' albums, stating that they tried to do something entirely different with each album.

In another interview, Wilton talked about working with producer Zeuss, saying that they've built a great relationship and trust him completely with his decisions.

He also stated that QUEENSRŸCHE is pushing the envelope on their new material, keeping progressive elements while experimenting with different sounds.

Wilton also discussed QUEENSRŸCHE's songwriting process in an interview with The Joel Martin Mastery Podcast, saying that they aim to create fresh music by not looking at past work and instead focusing on inspiration from the moment.
