The annual two-day festival at Reggies in Chicago kicked off with a bang, featuring a diverse lineup of metal bands.

California-based thrash outfit Regiment brought the energy on Friday night, delivering a high-octane performance that got the crowd moving.

Beret-wearing singer Tyler Heath and his band Leather Duchess returned to the stage, showcasing their unique sound.

Heroine Sentinel, a rising power metal act, impressed with their soaring vocals and catchy hooks.

The night ended on a high note as Rhapsody Of Fire took the stage without their keyboards, playing an epic version of Warning Of Danger, backed by guitarist Kenny Powell's blistering licks and vocalist Alexander's powerful vocals.
