New York-based death metal outfit UNDEATH have announced their signing with Relapse Records.

The band has completed recording its fourth full-length album with Colin Marston at Menegroth / The Thousand Caves Studio in Pennsylvania.

Frontman Alexander Sason comments, "It's time to unveil the next chapter for UNDEATH: We're honored to announce that we've signed to Relapse Records." The label is home to a roster of bands including NECROPHAGIST and DYING FETUS, both of whom have been cited as influences by UNDEATH.

Relapse will release UNDEATH's new album, described as their fastest, darkest, and most evil record to date.

Details on the album are expected to be shared in the coming weeks.

Later this month, UNDEATH embarks on a massive North American tour with ARCHSPIRE.

Tickets are available now through undeathmetal.com.

The band rose to underground metal infamy since forming in Rochester, New York in 2018.

Their latest album "More Insane" (2024) followed the success of their Billboard-charting successor "It's Time...

To Rise From The Grave" (2022), which caught a wave of acclaim on TheNeedleDrop's YouTube channel and earned "Best New Music" from Pitchfork.

UNDEATH has mastered the extremely extreme, with over 250 shows under their belt.

They've played festivals in the U.S., Denmark, the Netherlands, the UK, and more, sharing the stage with EXODUS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SUFFOCATION, and others.

The band's guitarist Kyle Beam has a signature model with Dunable Guitars.
