A retired Seattle Police captain has questioned the investigation into the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, suggesting that it may have been mishandled and staged to look like a suicide.

Neil Low, who spent 50 years with the SPD, has claimed that investigators failed to treat Cobain's death as a potential homicide properly.

Low points out anomalies in blood evidence and alleged inconsistencies at the scene, as well as errors in report writing.

He also notes that conflicting details about events leading up to Cobain's death were omitted from official reports.

Low believes that it is possible for an investigation to be botched, and he thinks that this may have been the case with Cobain's death.
