In a recent interview with Brazil's Rock Mania, former HELLOWEEN and current MASTERPLAN guitarist Roland Grapow shared his thoughts on the use of artificial intelligence (A.I.) music generators.

According to the transcribed conversation, Grapow expressed skepticism towards the technology, stating that while he has experimented with A.I.-generated music for personal projects, he believes it's not entirely authentic.

He noted that some users are crediting themselves as songwriters when using such programs, which can be misleading.

Additionally, Grapow mentioned that Germany's performance rights organization GEMA requires creators to disclose whether a song was generated by an A.I.

program.

MASTERPLAN is gearing up for a European tour, starting on April 12.

Their new studio album, "Metalmorphosis", will be released via Frontiers Music Srl on June 26, 2026.
