Accomplished bassist and Journey founder Ross Valory has confirmed that his debut solo album "All Of The Above" will hit stores on vinyl and CD starting August 21.

This marks the first time the album, originally released digitally in 2024, will be available on physical formats.

A new edition of the album includes a special purple swirl color vinyl with autographed photo exclusively available via Experience Vinyl.

A talented group of musicians assisted Valory on the album, including Eric Levy and Bobby Strickland.

The updated release features a new instrumental track and video for "City Lights," which captures the hauntingly seductive quality of the song through a visually arresting clip set against the backdrop of New York City throughout different time periods.

"City Lights' is really about people out and about in the city, possibly in the rain, looking for and finding romance," Valory explains.

"It's just the simple enjoyment of nightlife and romance…the adventure, the excitement, the spontaneity." The song and its accompanying video are part of a series of collaborations between Valory and director Michael Cotten, who also created videos for all tracks on the album.

Valory's solo album was produced by the bassist himself and co-produced by Eric Levy and Jacob Stowe.

The ten-track album showcases the full maturity of Valory's musical gifts, cutting a broad swath through instrumental territory with his keyboard, guitar, and bass work.

He steps out from behind his iconic bass role to represent his vision and compositions as a solo artist.

In related news, Journey continues on without Valory after settling their long-standing dispute with guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain in April 2021.
