RUSH has announced the world premiere of a new documentary titled 'Neil Peart: No One's Disciple' at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The 96-minute film, directed by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn, will screen on September 16 at TIFF, with a public showing on September 19 and a broadcast on Canada's CBC network on September 23 as part of the 'The Passionate Eye' series.

The documentary chronicles the late RUSH drummer's early career and rise to prominence, featuring interviews with band co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, along with reflections from other acclaimed drummers.

It includes live performances of RUSH classics with Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, Danny Carey, and Gavin Harrison filling Neil Peart's drum seat.

Neil Peart passed away on January 7, 2020 after a three-year battle with glioblastoma.

In 2022, Lee revealed Peart had requested to keep his illness private, with the band choosing to remain silent about the diagnosis to protect his privacy.

RUSH is currently on tour with German drummer Anika Nilles and newly added keyboardist Loren Gold.

The 'Fifty Something' tour began on June 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and spans multiple cities across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

Each show features two sets, curated from a catalog of around 40 tracks, including greatest hits and fan favorites.

The band initially announced tour dates in early October 2025, which quickly sold out, prompting them to double the tour length and add additional dates due to overwhelming demand."
