  3. Rush Announces Reunion Shows for 2026, Anika Nilles Joins as New Drummer

Legendary Canadian progressive metal band Rush has announced a series of reunion shows scheduled for 2026.

After the unfortunate passing of Neil Peart, the band will be joined by German drummer and composer Anika Nilles to celebrate over fifty years of their music and legacy.

In a statement, Nilles expressed her gratitude towards Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson for welcoming her on this new journey with Rush.

She also thanked fans for their kind words and support over the years.

The trek kicks off on June 7, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, marking a full-circle conclusion to the band's touring history.

Lee commented that it had been over ten years since he and Lifeson last performed with Neil.

He stated that they have missed the experience and are ready to celebrate five decades of Rush music by paying tribute to their past and Peart's indelible mark on the band.

Rush's 2026 reunion tour includes stops in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and Cleveland.
