The album, released in April 1984, features eight technology-driven tracks that showcase the band's forward thinking compositions.
The new editions will be available in five configurations: a four-CD + Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition, a five-LP + Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition, a digital equivalent of the former, a digital Dolby Atmos edition, and finally, a newly edited and mixed concert video made available to video DSPs.
The limited-edition version of the Super Deluxe Edition includes four CDs, one Blu-ray, and a 52-page hardcover book.
CD1 features the album's original stereo mix newly remastered from the original analog stereo master tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios.
The new mixes are the result of working with longtime band associate, producer/engineer Richard Chycki, who noted that 'Listening to Grace Under Pressure in Atmos, you can really hear Rush's progress and development as artists.' A visually remastered concert video featuring their September 21, 1984 show at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto will be part of the Blu-ray disc.
This edition also includes new liner notes penned by Geddy Lee reflecting on his memories of finding a new producer for the album.
The first three configurations – four-CD + Blu-ray, five-LP + Blu-ray and digital Dolby Atmos editions - include new audio mixes created from the original 1984 album tracks.
The 2025 remix is presented in stereo, with an immersive Atmos experience for those who have it.
In all configurations, visuals are remastered in high definition.
The five-LPs set, cut at Abbey Road Studios and pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl black vinyl, includes a custom acrylic display of the tour cover; replica of the Grace Under Pressure tour book; replica Maple Leaf Gardens/Toronto show concert ticket; total access backstage pass; “Pressure Release” replica press release; three bandmember live photo lithos; poster from the Toronto show.
The second configuration – five-LP plus Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition, will be offered at the Rush Backstage online store with three exclusive bonus lithos of Hugh Syme’s new illustrations.
Also, available to purchase through pre-order on May 14th.
