Legendary Rush artist Hugh Syme has opened up about the band's current Fifty Something tour logo in an exclusive interview with Ultimate Classic Rock.

According to Syme, the logo was chosen for its Celtic imagery and symbolism of three elements.

However, there were initial concerns when a coffee cup design featuring the logo was released due to a potential hazard symbol resemblance.

Syme revealed that Geddy Lee liked the Celtic-inspired logo and it became a central part of the tour's aesthetic.

The artist explained, "When I heard that he wanted something that indicated three, I started looking at Celtic lore and Celtic imagery that embodied the whole idea of three elements." The tour's Fifty Something itinerary includes stops in the US, Canada, Europe, and South America.

The schedule spans multiple months, with various cities marked as sold-out shows.

Some notable dates include a series of sold-out performances in Chicago, as well as engagements in New York City, Toronto, and Philadelphia.

The band is set to tour extensively through September before embarking on international legs.
