Swedish metallers Sabaton have dropped their latest single, the historically-charged "Yamato", alongside a visually stunning music video and special in-game content for World of Warships.

This marks the band's second collaboration with Wargaming, following their successful tie-in last year for "Bismarck".

The new song takes its name from Japan's infamous battleship Yamato, which sailed to its doom on a suicidal mission during World War II.

The music video is an epic recreation of the legendary ship's final moments, filmed in Belgrade, Serbia, and features Sabaton performing amidst the icy waters as divers keep watch for safety.

"Battleships are fascinating and naval stories have long been part of Sabaton lore," states vocalist Joakim Brodén.

"Our former guitarist Tommy wrote this song while still with us, but we only finalized it after guitar duties were reassigned to Thobbe." The band's bassist PÀr Sundström adds, "We always wanted to continue the story told in 'Bismarck.' It feels so natural to work together again with Wargaming." "Yamato" is available now on all digital platforms and within World of Warships.

Users can experience the song while playing as Sabaton's specially integrated battleship in the game, complete with unique voice lines from Brodén and Sundström.
