Canadian progressive rock icons SAGA have announced a return to live performances in 2026, kicking off with a series of carefully selected engagements across Canada.
Details on specific dates and venues will be shared shortly, but fans can look forward to seeing the band reunited with frontman Michael Sadler, guitarist Ian Crichton, and keyboardist Jim Gilmour.
The core lineup has been augmented by returning bassist Mike Borkosky and drummer Brad Park will fill in for select dates.
However, the reunion marks a change in SAGA's touring lineup, as original drummer Mike Thorne will not be part of these shows.
In a statement, the band paid tribute to departing drummer Dusty Chesterfield, saying they appreciate his contributions and wish him well in future musical endeavors.
The guys are eager to reconnect with their fans and share new music on stage.
SAGA's latest album "Symmetry" was released via earMUSIC in March 2021.
