Canadian progressive music icons Saga played their first concert in more than a year this past Thursday, June 11 at the River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, Alberta, Canada.
The show was met with enthusiasm from fans, who shared photos and fan-filmed video of the performance on social media.
Alongside Saga's core lineup of Michael Sadler, Ian Crichton, and Jim Gilmour, drummer Brad Park stepped in for selected dates after Mike Thorne handled drumming duties for the tour.
The band performed a mix of old favorites and new material, including tracks from their latest album "Symmetry", which was released via earMUSIC in March 2021.
The setlist included hits like "Don't Be Late", "Wind Him Up", and "On The Loose".
The show marked Saga's return to live action following a hiatus due to the band's frontman, Michael Sadler, battling cancer.
Sadler has since rejoined his bandmates after an extended recovery period.
The musician had initially revealed in September 2024 that he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of muscle-invasive cancer.
According to reports, Saga will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027 by embarking on a special tour dubbed "Saga 50 - 1977-2027: The Generations Tour", details for which will be announced soon at sagagen.com.
