Progressive symphonic metal band Scardust has released a new single titled "Symphony", a reimagined version of Clean Bandit's original track. The release features acclaimed Los Angeles-based electric violinist Mia Asano and the Hellscore Choir, available now via Frontiers Music Srl. Asano, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, has collaborated with artists including Ministry, DragonForce, Lindsey Stirling, Tina Guo, and Taylor Davis.

She previously performed with Two Steps From Hell on a European arena tour that included a show in front of 75,000 people at Wacken Open Air. Asano received the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Best Violin Performance Award in 2020. The track was produced and orchestrated by Joost van den Broek, whose work helped shape the project’s cinematic and emotionally driven sound.

Scardust described the interpretation of the song as exploring a deep, bittersweet longing to belong and connect, despite feeling separated. The band emphasized the synergy between their progressive metal style and Asano’s virtuosity. Proceeds from the single’s release will be donated to the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research.
