Season of Mist to Reissue Borknagar's 'True North' Album

In a move that will delight fans of the genre, Season of Mist has announced a reissue of Borknagar's critically acclaimed album, True North.

The 2019 release marked a creative peak for the Norwegian band, who have been pushing the boundaries of metal music since their self-titled debut in 1996.

Over the past three decades, Borknagar has explored various styles, from black metal to progressive rock and neofolk.

Their latest reissue includes hits like "Up North," "Voices," and "The Fire That Burns." The album showcases the band's versatility, with Øystein Brun leading the way on guitar and vocals, joined by ICS Vortex on bass and vocals, Lars Nedland on keyboards, Bjørn Dugstad Rønnow on drums, and Jostein Thomassen on guitars.

True North will be reissued in various formats, including a 2×12″ Vinyl Gatefold edition, available starting May 15.
