In a new interview with KillerTube, SEETHER bassist Dale Stewart spoke about the band's approach to releasing music, stating that they are exploring alternative methods to traditional full-length albums.

Stewart mentioned that the industry has changed significantly and that releasing singles may be a more viable option for them in the future.

According to Stewart, the main dilemma is whether to invest time and resources into creating 12-15 songs for an album or to focus on shorter releases of individual songs.

He noted that younger audiences are increasingly consuming music through streaming services and prefer listening to singles rather than full albums.

This discussion comes after SEETHER released a digital-only EP, "Beneath The Surface", in April via Concord Records.

The EP features four tracks, including two unreleased studio cuts and live recordings from a SiriusXM Octane session.

The band's latest album, "The Surface Seems So Far", was released in September 2024 via Fantasy Records and showcases SEETHER's trademark blend of aggression and introspection.

The album follows the success of their 2020 album "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum", which boasted three No.

1 hits.

SEETHER will support STAIND on the "Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour" in September and October, featuring additional support from HOOBASTANK and HINDER.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off in Atlanta, Georgia on September 8 and concludes in Austin, Texas on October 19.

In the interview, Stewart reflected on how the music industry has evolved since his own formative years as a fan.

He noted that it's now easier than ever to access an enormous amount of music from various eras and genres.

Stewart concluded by stating that SEETHER is exploring new ways to release music in response to these changes, but ultimately, they aim to continue producing high-quality music for their fans.
