Lamb Of God has released their first single in three years, titled 'Sepsis', via Epic Records.
Produced by Josh Wilbur, the track showcases a blend of intense instrumentals and a grungier sound compared to their previous work.
The single arrives during a prosperous phase in the band's career, marking their 25th anniversary as Lamb Of God.
However, 'Sepsis' serves as a nod to their past, harkening back to when they were known as Burn The Priest.
Guitarist Mark Morton elaborated, stating that the song pays homage to local bands in Richmond, such as Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger, who greatly influenced Lamb Of God during their formative years.
Fans at the Aftershock Festival had the privilege of witnessing 'Sepsis' for the first time on October 3rd.
Additionally, Lamb Of God will perform at AMMA Championship Fest and their second annual Headbangers Boat cruise from October 31 to November 4.
The four-day event sets sail from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico, featuring performances by Clutch, Power Trip, Kublai Khan TX, Obituary, Fear Factory, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Exploited, Crowbar, Nekrogoblikon, and more.
Comedy acts by Josh Potter and Saul Trujillo, along with hosting duties from Jose Mangin and Riki Rachtman, will also be part of the festivities.
