Live Nation Brasil has confirmed that SEPULTURA's final concert, originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil, has been relocated to the Suhai Music Hall. The new venue holds just over 9,000 spectators, down from the former stadium's capacity of approximately 26,000. Tickets for the original venue remain valid for the rescheduled event. Attendees unable to attend the new location may request a refund.

The Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, which reopened on January 25, 2025, was rebranded following renovations that included the demolition of the iconic 'Tobogã' section. The venue has long been significant to SEPULTURA, with the band having performed at Praça Charles Miller in front of the stadium during the early 1990s, helping solidify its presence in Brazilian music.

The final show will not be a simple farewell but a tribute to SEPULTURA's 40-year legacy. It will feature performances by KRISIUN, SACRED REICH, and METAL ALLEGIANCE, including Mike Portnoy of DREAM THEATER, Alex Skolnick and Chuck Billy of TESTAMENT, Phil Demmel of MACHINE HEAD, Troy Sanders of MASTODON, and Mark Menghi. Former members Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz are also expected to participate.

The event marks the culmination of SEPULTURA's global 'Celebrating Life Through Death' farewell tour, which began on March 1, 2024 in Belo Horizonte. The North American leg concluded on May 29, 2024 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, with support from EXODUS, BIOHAZARD, and TRIBAL GAZE. The band previously announced Eloy Casagrande's departure on February 27, 2024, to join SLIPKNOT, a move that surprised band members and coincided with the tour's launch. SEPULTURA continues to record live material for a 40-city live album project, with plans to release it in 2025 in a vinyl format inspired by classic live albums like MOTÖRHEAD's 'Alive II'.
