SEPULTURA have announced The Cloud Of Unknowing as the title of their final EP.
The band’s farewell tour, Celebrating Life Through Death, kicked off on March 1, 2024, at Arena Hall in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The sold-out show marked their first performance with drummer Greyson Nekrutman, who officially replaced longtime drummer Eloy Casagrande in February 2024.
SEPULTURA have also confirmed a live album commemorating their final run of shows, featuring recordings from 40 cities worldwide.
The final North American leg of the tour will include support from EXODUS, BIOHAZARD, and TRIBAL GAZE, with dates across major cities in the U.S. and Canada. The band will also appear at the Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals as part of the farewell schedule.
In an interview last year, guitarist Andreas Kisser revealed plans to release new music with Nekrutman, stating the band had recorded four new songs intended for a celebratory EP.
According to Kisser, the decision to embark on a two-and-a-half-year farewell tour was driven by a desire to explore musical styles beyond extreme metal.
SEPULTURA plan to conclude their final concert in October 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, with an open invitation to past members—including the Cavalera brothers and drummer Jean Patton—to join for a celebratory performance.
The farewell tour marks the end of a defining chapter in metal history, giving fans one last chance to see SEPULTURA live before they disband.
