On May 22, California metal heroes Serpent From Eden will release one of the most eagerly-awaited albums of the year so far – a full-length tribute to the late Nick Menza.
The album features nine tracks that Gumby discovered on old tapes and worked into a cohesive collection with bandmates Pauli Infantino (vocals), James Yokoi (bass), Chris Tracy (drums), Darren Ballard, Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland, bassist David Ellefson, and producer Max Norman.
The album's live launch will take place at The Boardwalk in Sacramento on May 22.
The album is a tribute to Menza, who was a true master of music and a highly prolific artist.
Ellefson notes that the tracks display Menza's continuous creative excitement, which can be heard in every performance he put down on tape.
The second single, "Let It Go," showcases this creativity, featuring newly shot material and archive footage of Menza and Ellefson.
The album is timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of Menza's passing on May 21, 2016.
Serpent From Eden featuring Nick Menza is a stand-out collection of powerful, dynamic, and melodic hard rock music that honors Menza in his own style.
The album will be available for pre-order on Cleo Records' website.
