Swedish progressive metal band Seventh Wonder has announced the release of their new studio album, VII, set for January 29 via Frontiers Music Srl. The album marks the band's return with vocalist Mattias Olofsson, who replaces Tommy Karevik. The announcement includes the release of the single "Memories," along with an official video.

VII is the band's seventh studio album and represents a new chapter in their evolution. Formed in 2000 by bassist Andreas Blomqvist, guitarist Johan Liefvendahl and drummer Johnny Sandin, with keyboardist Andreas "Kyrt" Söderin joining shortly after, Seventh Wonder has established a distinctive sound through albums including Become, Waiting In The Wings, Mercy Falls, The Great Escape, Tiara and The Testament.

Following the departure of Tommy Karevik after touring for The Testament, the band reevaluated its identity and welcomed Mattias Olofsson as its new vocalist. Blomqvist stated that the new lineup maintains the band's core sound while introducing fresh vocal elements. The album showcases intricate arrangements, melodic sophistication and a confident, mature approach to progressive metal.

The full tracklist for VII includes "Memories," "Riverside," "The Villain And The Whisper," "Evermore," "Cry Wolf," "The Storm," "Silver Lining," "Echoes" and "Ad Infinitum." The band will release the album on January 29, with pre-orders available at https://ffm.bio/seventhwonder-vii.
