SHADOW & THE THRILL, the modern blues-infused rockers founded by Tony Cardenas-Montana in 2018, is currently working on a follow-up to their debut album "Sugarbowl." In addition to crafting new material, the band has been releasing singles from the work-in-progress.

Their latest single, "Hangover Sex," was released after last summer's "Supermodel" and showcases the band's ability to craft hook-filled melodies within a blues-infused context.

While Tony Cardenas-Montana acknowledges that SHADOW & THE THRILL's future is influenced by his past as a member of GREAT WHITE, he does not shy away from challenging expectations.

"This one's gonna hurt," he says of "Hangover Sex." "In a good way." The song's lyrics define a wild adventure involving questionable substances and actions, only to have reality step in and check motives.

"I'm excited to get this one exposed to everyone," Tony explains.

"The spirit of this track has stayed intact since its inception.

Through multiple personnel changes, and multiple attempts to track in the studio, the song survived and thrived to the end." The band's sound is heavily influenced by Tony's past experiences touring with GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash, TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider, and other prominent rock musicians.

SHADOW & THE THRILL continues to build upon their debut album's acclaim.

Rockandbluesmuse.com described "Sugarbowl" as a standout project that rivals the greats of old rock music.

The band is comprised of multi-dimensional musicians who have their take on rock music fully locked down.

With another single poised to follow "Hangover Sex," fans can expect SHADOW & THE THRILL to maintain their energetic and diverse sound.
