SHADOWS FALL singer Brian Fair has spoken about the status of recording sessions for the remainder of the songs on the band's long-awaited follow-up to their 2012 album "Fire From The Sky".

In a new interview with Drew Stone of The New York Hardcore Chronicles Live!, Fair said: "We're rounding the final stretch.

I've still got some more work to do.

But we're adding harmonies, adding backup vocals.

We're getting there." Despite not having any idea of release dates or plans nailed down, Fair expressed excitement about the new songs and mentioned that SHADOWS FALL recently released their first two singles in over 12 years - "Souls Devoured" (May 2025) and "In The Grey" (December 2024).

When asked about SHADOWS FALL's working relationship with their new record label home, MNRK Heavy, Fair praised the label for being "super flexible" and allowing them to do things their own way.

However, Fair was tight-lipped about any guest appearances on the new album, saying only that "there's been some ideas floating around", but nothing concrete to share yet.

SHADOWS FALL has previously confirmed plans to play some shows in support of the new LP once it is released.

The band will likely never tour full-time like they used to, but Fair expressed enthusiasm about performing live again.

In related news, SHADOWS FALL members were recently honored with an official proclamation from Springfield mayor Domenic J.
