Canadian hard rock outfit Sinisteria, rooted in the early '90s underground scene, is set to release their self-titled debut album on January 16 via Eonian Records.

The first single off the upcoming record, titled 'Lay A Heavy', has already been unveiled.

Sinisteria, known for their uncompromising sound, theatrical live performances, and DIY ethos, have been pioneers in blending aggressive riff-driven songwriting with dark melodic sensibilities.

The forthcoming release embodies the spirit that has defined Sinisteria since its inception: heavy, unapologetic, and ambitious.

Drawing from their original era while benefiting from decades of perspective and experience, the album promises a modern hard rock production without compromising on raw intensity.

'This record reflects who we were then and who we are now,' says the band.

'It's aggressive, honest, and very much a Sinisteria record, no compromises.' Pre-orders for the album will be available through select digital platforms in the coming weeks, with physical CD editions also planned.

For fans of classic Canadian hard rock and metal, Sinisteria's 2026 release is both a revival and a statement, evidence that intensity, ambition, and authenticity never go out of style.
