Swedish heavy rock band SISTER SIN has released a second new single, “Drive”.

It is the follow-up to last month's “Suicide Hill,” which marked SISTER SIN's first new music in 12 years.,“Drive” and “Suicide Hill” were recorded by SISTER SIN's current lineup of Liv Jagrell on vocals, Jimmy Hiltula on guitar, Andreas Strandh on bass, Dave Sundberg on drums, and Sebastian Svedlund on rhythm guitar.

The tracks were mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory at Rorysound Studios.,The band had previously announced its reunion in December 2019 after a hiatus that followed their split in November 2015.

However, the coronavirus pandemic delayed the band's return to the live stage until June 2022 when they performed at Backstage Rockbar in Trollhättan, Sweden.,In an interview with the Denim And Leather podcast, Liv stated about SISTER SIN's split more than a decade ago: “We broke up in 2015.

And to be honest, it was due to too much touring.” She added that two band members left due to personal reasons and the remaining members decided to end the band, feeling they had reached their prime.,However, Liv has since gone on to launch her own project LIV SIN, which she describes as a heavier, more modern metal sound.

In an interview with Denim And Leather, Jagrell discussed how she struggled to come to terms with SISTER SIN's split and found a new path with LIV SIN.

She explained: “For me, my whole life was living around SISTER SIN; my whole life was being the vocalist of SISTER SIN.

When that disappeared, I didn't know where to go.” Despite her success with LIV SIN, Jagrell is still active with both bands and has released new music with them.,As for SISTER SIN's future plans when it comes to performing live, Liv said: “We'll see,” as the band members have full-time jobs and families, limiting their touring schedule.

However, they are planning some shows here and there, festivals, and weekend performances.,This latest single release marks a new chapter in SISTER SIN's history after years of ups and downs.

The band had previously released five studio albums through Victory Records, including the 2014 album “Black Lotus,” which received praise from critics.
