The Los Angeles-based death metal band Skeletal Remains has found itself at the center of controversy after multiple women came forward with allegations of misconduct against frontman and guitarist Chris Monroy.

According to reports shared on social media, including Facebook and Reddit, Monroy was accused of being intoxicated and sexually assaulting numerous women while on board the 70,000 Tons Of Metal cruise in 2027.

The original reports surfaced on the unofficial Facebook group for the event, but were later deleted after being shared with a wider audience.

Several women claimed to have been harassed or groped by Monroy, with one Reddit user posting a screenshot of an anonymous account that described Monroy's behavior as "groping women on the boat." Another woman on board posted about her own experience, saying she was approached multiple times by Monroy and eventually had to report him to security.

Despite efforts from 70,000 Tons Of Metal's management to investigate the allegations, Skeletal Remains has yet to comment on the situation, with their Instagram notifications currently turned off.

This incident highlights concerns about consent and misconduct within the music industry.
