Canadian metal band Slaughter has reunited after a 39-year hiatus.

The original trio of Dave Hewson on vocals and guitar, Ron Sumners on drums, and Terry Sadler on vocals and bass have reformed and are now performing again.

In a statement, the band said that they recently met up in Toronto to make music together again, recreating their classic sound from the late 1980s.

The reunion has been marked by a newly-released live version of their song "Incinerator", which is available on Facebook.

Fans can check out this new release, which captures the band's signature thrash metal sound.

A live show is also planned for June 26th."
