In a new interview with Rock 100.5 KATT FM's Cameron Buchholtz, SLAUGHTER frontman Mark Slaughter expressed his desire to release new music from the band despite facing challenges in doing so.

Slaughter acknowledged that getting all five members together is a difficult task due to their various locations across the country.

He also noted the lack of support from fans and the media for classic rock bands like SLAUGHTER, who have been releasing new music lately.

However, he emphasized that the band still has a strong connection with their audience through their uplifting lyrics and live performances.

When asked about how they decide which songs to perform live, Slaughter revealed that they rely heavily on streaming numbers to determine the most popular tracks among their fans.

He also shared an anecdote about attending a Paul McCartney concert, where he observed how the legendary musician's decision to play new material was met with mixed reactions from the audience.

SLAUGHTER originally formed in 1988 after the breakup of Vinnie Vincent Invasion and went on to release several successful albums before going on hiatus.

Despite not releasing any new music since their 1999 album "Back To Reality," the band remains dedicated to its classic rock sound and continues to celebrate life through its uplifting lyrics.
