Thrash metal legends SLAYER will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their classic album "Reign In Blood" by performing it in its entirety on a Latin American tour this fall.

The tour kicks off on October 21 in Mexico City, Mexico at Palacio de los Deportes, where they'll be joined by POWER TRIP as special guests.

Other dates announced for the tour include December 5 in Bogotá, Colombia; December 10 in Santiago, Chile; and December 14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

KREATOR and ULTRA LEGENDS will also support SLAYER on these dates.

After selling out their November 13 show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, a second date was added for November 14.

The two Kia Forum dates mark SLAYER's first Los Angeles concerts in seven years.

SLAYER will also play a "Reign In Blood" 40th-anniversary headlining show on September 4 at Shakopee, Minnesota's Mystic Lake Amphitheater.

This is one of the only U.S.

performances where fans will witness "Reign In Blood" played in full.

Festival appearances throughout the year will feature different sets.

Shakopee will feature support from DOWN, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, and HATEBREED, while CANNIBAL CORPSE, CAVALERA, and CROWBAR will open both Los Angeles shows.

The lineup for all of SLAYER's comeback shows in 2024 and 2025 features guitarist Kerry King and drummer Paul Bostaph alongside bassist/vocalist Tom Araya and guitarist Gary Holt.

"Reign In Blood" was released on October 7, 1986 through Def Jam Recordings, marking the band's first collaboration with record producer Rick Rubin.

The album has since been widely regarded as a groundbreaking release that pushed the boundaries of thrash metal and speed metal.

Its release sparked controversy over its graphic artwork and lyrical subject matter, but SLAYER members have consistently maintained that their lyrics are rooted in fact rather than promoting or glorifying Nazism.
