SLIPKNOT has unveiled its largest tour to date, the '(Sic)est Stadium Tour', set to launch in 2027. The global stadium run will begin on July 3 at London’s Wembley Stadium, followed by a North American leg starting July 16 at Washington, D.C.'s Nationals Park and concluding August 18 at Phoenix’s Chase Field. Five South American dates will follow in September.

BRING ME THE HORIZON will open all North American dates, with a rotating lineup of guest acts including LAMB OF GOD, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, LORNA SHORE, LOATHE, ACID BATH, POLYPHIA, KUBLAI KHAN TX and VENDED. MARILYN MANSON, LORNA SHORE and HATEBREED will perform at the Wembley show.

The band's most recent live performance was at Inkcarceration in Ohio in July 2025.

SLIPKNOT released its first new music in over three years, the single 'Arsenal', in September. The track, directed by drummer Clown Crahan, was the first new SLIPKNOT release since the departure of keyboardist Craig Jones and drummer Jay Weinberg, and the addition of Eloy Casagrande. It marked the band's first release on its own (sic)est Records label, following the conclusion of its two-and-a-half-decade record deal with Roadrunner.

'Arneseal' received mixed reactions, with some fans criticizing its chorus, where singer Corey Taylor chants 'Let's go, let's go, let's go'. Guitarist Jim Root clarified that the song is not representative of the upcoming album, stating it was released as a standalone single to allow the band to move forward with new material. Root emphasized that 'Arsenal' was intended as a quick release to showcase the band’s energy, not as a preview of the album.

The new album will follow 'The End, So Far', which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in August 2022. It marked SLIPKNOT's sixth Top 10-charting album on the Billboard 200 and achieved No. 1 debuts in the UK, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, and Mexico, as well as Top 3 debuts in Canada, New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, Japan, and Belgium.

SLIPKNOT's previous album, 'We Are Not Your Kind' (2019), was the band’s third consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and achieved No. 1 debuts in 12 countries, including the U.K., Australia, Canada and Mexico.

In late September, SLIPKNOT confirmed that the new album will not include 'Arsenal'. Guitarist Jim Root stated that the single was a standalone effort to provide a sense of momentum while the full album is being developed.

The band has also sold its music catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners, which includes publishing and recording master royalties for the entire archival catalog. The deal does not extend to future releases.

Since its debut in 1999, SLIPKNOT has earned a Grammy Award and 11 nominations, achieved platinum and gold certifications worldwide, and amassed billions of streams and video views. Rolling Stone named 'Iowa' (2001) among 'The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time'.

Eloy Casagrande, who joined the band in place of Jay Weinberg, emphasized that he is not aiming to replicate Joey Jordison’s playing style. Instead, he focuses on honoring the band’s energy and soul, stating, 'They don’t want to have another Joey in the band. They want something with personality that brings new ideas.'

Casagrande also described his role as one of supporting the band’s music and expressing his own artistic voice within the group.

In a BBC Radio 1 interview, Corey Taylor called 'Arsenal' a 'pummeling experience' that encapsulates the band’s essence, highlighting its hyperactive moments and a 'sublime drop' that unites the group in a unified energy.
