The highly anticipated vinyl release of SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan, singer Corey Taylor, guitarist Jim Root and DJ Sid Wilson's experimental project will finally see the light of day on Record Store Day (April 18).

The album, dubbed “Look Outside Your Window,” is a collection of psychedelic-flavored songs recorded during the sessions for SLIPKNOT's 2008 LP “All Hope Is Gone.” Crahan revealed the existence of the music in 2018, describing it as an amazing body of work that showcases a different creative path from the band’s usual sound.

The project was born out of impasse during the recording sessions and was guided by emotion and instinct, resulting in songs with subtle drum loops, bits of organ or abstract guitar noise, even samples of frogs or crickets.

The album's track listing includes “11th March,” “Moth,” “Dirge,” “Christina,” “I Real,” “Away,” “I Reverse,” “Toad,” “Juliette,” and “U Can't Stop This.” The album's release was initially planned to coincide with the "All Hope Is Gone" tracks but never quite came together.

SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn Crahan stated, "It needs not affect anybody negative.

Nobody should be affected by it in any negative way; I won't allow it." Crahan wants to make sure the project gets its own time to shine rather than being a half-hearted release.

The highly anticipated vinyl release will come with splatter vinyl, die-cut jacket, purple foil on the front of the jacket, purple flood inside the jacket, and embossed text on the back of the jacket.
