Nate Garrett has returned to his doom-laden project Spirit Adrift with a new single, 'Eternal Celestial Energy'.

The song is described by Garrett as the heaviest thing he's ever written both sonically and emotionally.

"It was extremely difficult to make, but hopefully it will resonate with people who need some catharsis," he says in a statement.

Unfortunately, this marks the end of Spirit Adrift, which has previously announced its dissolution.

The band will debut two new songs at their final performance on March 20, sharing the stage with Crowbar, Eyehategod, and Black Magnet.

"We will be farewell-ing you in one of the most metal cities in the world," Garrett posts online, thanking fans for making the show a sell-out.
