Texan death metal outfit STABBING has unleashed their vicious second album, Eon of Obscenity—a 30-minute ferocious assault on the senses.

The album follows their surprise debut, Extirpated Mortal Process, released four years ago and widely praised for its raw brutality and vocalist Bridget Lynch’s cavernous gutturals.

After a couple of lineup changes, STABBING emerge even more uncompromising, with Lynch’s vocals still a clear focal point.

Across 11 unrelenting tracks, the band showcases sharpened technical precision and thuggish force, never letting up on intensity.

Standout cuts include the title track, “Ruminations,” and “Nauseating Composition” (feat. Ricky Myers of Suffocation), all contributing to an album that nods to classic death metal while carving out its own brutal identity.

Not for the faint of heart, Eon of Obscenity is essential listening for modern death metal fans, further cementing Texas as a hotbed of contemporary brutality.
