Astronoid, the progressive metal outfit known for their captivating blend of post-hardcore and shoegaze, is set to return this Fall with their new album, 'Stargod'.

Scheduled for release on November 7 via 3DOT Recordings, the first single, 'Third Shot', offers a glimpse into the band's reinvigorated sound, blending elements reminiscent of FM-84 and Coheed & Cambria to create an '80s radio-worthy banger.

Frontman Brett Boland shares that 'Third Shot' was chosen as the lead single for its pivotal role in shaping the album's direction, reflecting the band's unwavering passion for music and the lives built around it.

However, the past three years have seen the band grappling with significant personal losses.

The passing of Casey Aylward's mother, who was a staunch supporter of Astronoid, and Boland's mother-in-law's unexpected death created a tumultuous season for the band members.

Boland acknowledges that many fans may have wondered about Astronoid's whereabouts during this time, but he stresses that they were dealing with life.

'Stargod', according to Boland, is a testament to their love for music, a sentiment he expresses with profound gratitude and a touch of regret that those who have passed could not witness the band's journey.
