Rock legend Steve Vai has collaborated with Coca-Cola to reimagine the classic Van Halen hit "Jump" into an official anthem for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The revamped track, which features Vai's signature guitar work and nods to Eddie Van Halen's playing style, will be released ahead of this summer's massive tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Joining Vai on the eclectic lineup are J Balvin, Amber Mark, and Travis Barker of Blink-182.

"I never know what might come across my desk as an inquiry, but this was a taker," Vai said of the unexpected collaboration.

The original "Jump" song, released in December 1983, became Van Halen's first and only No.

1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned a nomination at the 27th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance.
