After more than a decade of silence, Grand Rapids metalcore stalwarts Still Remains are back with their long-awaited new EP, Spirit Breaker.
The five-track release arrives on June 12 through Arson Theory and marks the band's first new music since their 2013 fan-funded full-length Ceasing To Breathe.
The EP was produced and co-written by Lee Albrecht (Hollow Front, Gore, Of Virtue), with the cover art coming from Kevin Moore / Mind Reader Inc.
The band is now comprised of original members T.J.
Miller (vocals), Jordan Whelan and Mike Church (guitarists), Kenny Polidan (bass), Zach Roth (keys), and A.J.
Barrette (drums).
The lead single, 'The Wound And The Weapon,' features a guest appearance from Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord and marks the band's first new music in over twelve years.
Its official video was directed by Dave Prindle.
Second single, 'Erase You,' follows now with an official music video, also directed by Dave Prindle.

Frontman T.J.
Miller comments, βFor this record we tried to stay true to the sound that our fans have grown to love, but also evolve a bit and add some more modern influences into our sound.
We wanted this to sound like an updated version of the classic Still Remains sound, and I think we pulled it off.β The band was formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2001 out of the local hardcore bands Shades of Amber and Unition.
They rose to prominence with their debut album Of Love And Lunacy in May 2005.
Their music has been a defining force in the early 2000s metalcore movement, with standout singles like 'The Worst Is Yet To Come' and 'White Walls.' After extensive touring alongside notable bands, they went on hiatus in 2008.
The band reunited in 2011 and released the fan-funded Ceasing To Breathe in December 2013 before resuming live activity in 2023.
